What if I want to improve my website down the road?

Many design companies are a one shot deal. Once they are done building your website, you’ll probably never hear from them again. We work differently. We view your website as a continually evolving piece of your marketing plan and customer relations strategy. After finishing your website, we’ll have a conversation and build a road map for how your can improve your website.

Can I update my website myself?

We build your new website using Wordpress. Having a Wordpress based website means that if you are a do-it-yourself approach to your website, you can update the content, add and remove pages and change almost anything about the site with a little training. The following screenshot shows how you can update the content of any of your webpages.

Wordpress also has many add-on features which means your website will be an excellent foundation on which to continually grow your website over time. Future updates can include add-ons like patient schedulers, photo/image galleries, and even ecommerce to sell products, and more. The following screenshot shows how you can install and activate plugins.

Also, the design can be updated at any time. Here’s a screen shot of how to change the entire design with a simple click.

As for training, our How To articles give you (or your assistant) the knowledge and skills to update and manage your growing website. We also offer in-person or web-based seminars (webinars) for Wordpress training.

What if I don’t have time or don’t want to update my website myself, but still have changes I’d like to occasionally make?

Not a problem either. Keeping your website current and up-to-date is important. A current website performs better in the search engines. And a current website is more interesting and relevant to visitors. We offer web maintenance packages where each month you email us the changes you want and we take care of all the details.

Do you have examples?

Stacie Connors was trying to expand her life coaching business. She had a number of clients she worked with over the past few years, but had trouble finding new clients. Also too many of her clients viewed their problem or goal as a “one off” situation. Once she helped them through it, they did not come back for more.
