Custom Web Design
Custom Best Web Design for Westchester NY, Fairfield CT, and NYC
Elevate your website to the next level with a custom website
Custom web design is the next step for most websites. A full web design has several advantages over a stock, template web design. A custom web design can:
- Convert more visitors to clients
- Easier to use navigation and layout
- Establish more credibility to visitors and clients
- Align your web presence with your business branding
With a custom web design you have more control over what content your visitors read and in what order. This particular control can increase the number of visitors who contact you. A custom web design also gives you more credibility because the design is at a much higher caliber than a stock, template design. This credibility will help increase your conversion rate. Finally, a custom website will bring your web presence into alignment with your business branding.
How do I know if I’m ready for a custom web design?
If you are just starting out in your business and keeping finances tight is critical, this package is probably not for you. Instead you can get a good start, often for free, from services out on the market.
But if you either have a foundation website already or value the impression the web has on your customers, then custom web design is for you.

What’s the process for creating my design?
Here’s the step by step process for how we work together to create your web design.
- We’ll first have a conversation about your business and talk about your goals.
- We’ll look through some examples of other sites on the web you like and dislike
- Next we’ll give you design examples from different web designers we have on staff. You can tell us which designs you like best and that will tell us which designer to use for your project.
- Based on our conversations, our designer will create a series of possible logos.
- Our web designer will take the information we gathered from our conversations to create the first composition (or as designers call them, a comp). We’ll show you this first comp to make sure we’re on the right track. We’ll collect your feedback on what you like about the comp and what you’d like to see different.
- The designer will now update the comp (or create a new one altogether if we did not get it right the first time). You’ll have a chance to provide feedback again. This process continues until you’re thrilled with your new design – usually 2-5 rounds.
- Once you’ve approved the design, next we create the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code that makes up a website. This is called “cutting the HTML” by web developers.
- Once we have the “cut HTML”, we’ll integrate this with the WordPress or Drupal application. WordPress will allow you to keep your site content current. See the Frequently Asked Questions description for more on WordPress.
- If your website is not currently on WordPress, we’ll move all of your website copy over to your new website. We will also give you suggestions and make improvements to any web copy you have.
- If you do not currently have a host company, we will host and hand over your website to you. We’ll have a conversation about the future and your road map for continually evolving your website.
- We’ll follow up with you in 2-3 months (if not sooner) to see how your website is working for you, what response you’ve received from your clients and what success stories you can tell us.
